One of the most important 19th century colour plate books on Norway. The fine engravings (aquatints) were based on drawings made by Edy through his journey to Norway in 1800 and the plates were published by Boydell in London c. 1820. The views show different places along the Norwegian coast from Halden to Lindesnes and with additional views of Bergen, Kristiansund, Molde and Trondheim. Many of the views are the first printed views of the area.
